Laura Van Syckle, Director of Recruitment, Virginia Hospital Center

Laura began her career as an RN in Critical Care where she worked for 18 years in a variety of settings.  In 1998, Laura joined Recruitment Specialists, Inc. and began Recruitment in Executive Search and then in 2000 became a Director with their onsite Nurse Recruitment program.  This program was utilized by many health systems across the country that instituted best practices in Recruitment to help Health systems recruit and retain top talent.  Laura joined Virginia Hospital Center in 2009 as Director of Recruitment and now works with a team of 10 that recruits for all positions within the Health System.
