What Makes a Good Reference Check?

What makes the Checkster reference check reliable? One core aspect is confidentiality. It’s important to let respondents be aware of the fact that they can be open and radically transparent. It’s only natural we tend to sugar coat our responses when speaking about others; we don’t want to come off as judgmental or critical. Our survey responses remain confidential, this allows an environment for one to speak their mind honestly about a candidate. We even have research to demonstrate this claim: People are more likely to be truthful in an online confidential reference check. With comments (actual responses from references) describing candidates as “not trustworthy”, “Lazy with job attendance issues”, “drinking habit”, you can see that online reference checks don’t solicit only positive feedback.
